Markham Stouffville Urgent Care Centre offers quality medical care you can count on 7 days a week. The Urgent Care Centre is a modern ambulatory care facility designed to manage urgent medical conditions in addition to traditional walk-in clinic concerns. Our services include, but are not limited to the following:

• The diagnosis and casting of fractures (broken bones)
• Repair of minor lacerations (cuts) with application of sutures (stitches) if needed
• Wound dressing changes
• Management and dressing of minor burns
• Drainage and management of infected abscesses
• Management of eye infections and minor injuries including removal of foreign bodies from the surface of the eye.
• Assessment and management of sexually transmitted infections.
• ECG testing.

Patients with life threatening conditions such as heart attack, stroke, severe trauma or those experiencing severe chest pain, severe abdominal pain or extremely laboured breathing should go to the emergency department or call 911.

Providing access to same day service for x-rays and urgent ultrasound testing if clinically indicated. The diagnostic imaging department reserves the right to close its doors before posted closing hours as dictated by patient volumes.
