Physicians

Experienced in the practice of Urgent Care/Acute Ambulatory Care Medicine
Skilled in areas of ECG interpretation, x-ray interpretation, basic casting/splinting techniques, simple laceration repair and slit lamp use.
Certification in ACLS, renewed every 2 years

Nurses

Responsible for carrying out the day-to-day nursing care for the clinic; the nursing care provided to clinic patients must be in accordance to established standards and practices as directed by respective governing bodies
Training and certification in BCLS (ACLS preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and medical personnel in a busy clinical setting
Able to commit to flexible work hours, including some evening shifts (2-8pm) and occasional weekends

Receptionists

Responsible for carrying out the day-to-day clerical functions of the clinic/office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and medical personnel in a busy clinical setting
Possesses an understanding of provincial fee codes and billing methods
Knowledge of computer systems and applications in Windows framework (EMR, billing system, e-dictation system, etc.); additional on-site training available if needed
Able to commit to flexible work hours, including some evening shifts (2-8pm) and occasional weekends
2 years experience in a medical office preferred
